As our new Nordic Finance Manager, you will primarily focus on further building a strong finance team to provide financial and commercial support for the Nordic Region which includes Sweden, Denmark and Finland.
Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:
• Build one integrated finance team supporting Bird & Bird across the whole Nordic Region.
• Ensure use of best practice processes, consistent globally where possible.
• Leading and managing the finance department in relation to day to day activities.
• Monthly reporting in key business areas.
• Preparation of budgets, forecasts and cash flow forecasts.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and legislation.
Ideally, you will have previous experience as a Finance Manager in management and statutory reporting, budgeting, leadership and management of an accounts department plus providing commercial advice to drive profitability within a legal environment. This role requires an ability to build relationships, take a persuasive and collaborative approach where excellent communication and interpersonal skills are paramount.
It is important that you are encouraging knowledge sharing and continuous improvements to business process.
You are effective at action planning and
performance improvement, set high standards, and have a pro-active and motivating attitude.
